Description

Burgundy Red Banarasi silk Shikargah sari - smooth, lustrous and lush. A stunning, enduring full Kadhua weave, with motifs of peacocks, horses, elephants, lions, scrolling vines, flora and fauna, Shikargah is a unique, Banarasi handloom speciality that mirrors the animals and birds of a royal hunt in the jungle. The self-coloured border also has shikargah animal motifs along with floral vines in a combination of silver and gold zari, referred to as roopa and sona. The contrast gold and silver zari pallu have self zari diamond pattern. The motifs have all been woven into the saree using the painstaking kadhua technique. This masterpiece comes with a plain burgundy red blouse with a self-coloured border.

Wash/Care Instructions:
